Climate Justice Press Conference – June 5

CRCJ Climate Justice Press Conference #2 (Instagram Post)

June 2, 2023

The Connecticut Roundtable on Climate and Jobs has partnered with CT NOFA, Save the Sound, and the Sierra Club to host a public press conference on Monday, June 5th. We invite the public to join us at the State Capitol Building in Hartford, CT from 10:00 am – 11:00 am to urge legislators to take immediate action on the current climate crisis, environmental justice, and fair housing before the current legislative session comes to a close on June 7th.

Our goal is to bring community advocates and legislative champions together to urge legislators to vote, “YES” for SB 961 Carbon-free and Healthy Schools, SB 4 Healthy Homes, SB 1147 Environmental Justice, and HB 6397 Zero-Carbon Emissions.

Together, we can ensure these bills come to pass before this session ends. Please share this information with your network and REGISTER TODAY.
