Bulk Order NOFA Membership Discounts

February 13, 2026
The Bulk Order, in its previous format, is no longer taking place. The legacy of the Bulk Order continues – not as a one-time order event, but as an ongoing member benefit that supports growers, and grows over time as we add more vendors and wholesale-level access.
For 2026, we are connecting members to quality organic growing supplies with a direct-to-consumer purchasing option through our program partners: Progressive Grower and Fedco Seeds.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE 2026 BULK ORDER?
- Product and/or shipping discounts
- Direct shipping (to NOFA/Mass, NOFA/RI, CT NOFA members)
- A broader array of products offered at a discount
- 5% of sales from all products purchased will be donated to NOFA/Mass
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
These discounts will be available for NOFA/Mass, CT-NOFA, and NOFA-RI members.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT PRODUCTS ARE APPROVED FOR CERTIFIED ORGANIC USE?
Previously, Baystate Organic Certifiers reviewed our Bulk Order list of supplies for Organic compliance. Both Fedco Seeds and Progressive Grower carry products prohibited on organic farms. Please contact your certifier or Laura Davis if you are unsure if a specific product is approved, restricted, or prohibited.
For more information on selecting organic compliant products, please watch the NOFA/Mass webinar: Soil Amendments for Organic Farmers
HOW DOES THIS WORK WITH SOIL TESTING AND ANALYSIS?
If you have a soil test report that you want to analyze before placing your orders, please use NOFA/Mass soil health services to order a soil test and/or submit your samples for analysis and recommendations. As always, we will recommend products for you to use based on your soil test results.
WHY IS THE BULK ORDER CHANGING?
The Bulk Order served our community well for many years, but it required significant staff time, physical storage logistics, coordination, and volunteer labor – resources that can now be redirected into soil health programs, education, member services, and on-farm support, where our expertise and impact are strongest.
HOW DOES THE MEMBER DISCOUNT PROGRAM WORK?
Members will receive discount access with our partnered organic suppliers. Each vendor has a designated ordering window. During that window, members can order directly from suppliers by sharing their membership status or providing the offered discount code.
ARE NEW VENDORS BEING ADDED?
Yes. We are intentionally growing this program and expect to expand supplier options as we establish partnership agreements. The change allows us to develop vendor relationships independently from the logistics-heavy bulk order format, opening more opportunity for collaboration and accessibility.
HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?
Orders can be placed directly through our program partners, Progressive Grower and Fedco. Please visit the following links for detailed ordering instructions.
