More than 30 years ago, a group of environmental and public health nonprofits decided to create a family of mutual funds to help people save for their future without compromising their values. It was a simple concept, but one that was only being used by a handful of pioneers in the environmentally responsible investing space.
Green Century Funds offer individuals and institutions three mutual funds that avoid environmentally harmful industries, including tobacco and fossil fuels. Green Century leads a shareholder advocacy program that delivers real-world change and supports environmental and health programs across the country with its profits.
Green Century is working to create a global food system that protects the environment, public health, and animal well-being to ensure a sustainable food supply for future generations. Learn more about how Green Century promotes sustainable agriculture on the resources page of our website.
A sustainable investment strategy that incorporates environmental, social, and governance criteria may result in lower or higher returns than an investment strategy that does not include such criteria.
