With a passion for collective liberation, transformative change, and dismantling systemic oppression, Jasmine manages Black Remote She as a progressive system of job and resource sharing. Prior to Black Remote She, their community engagement and organizing work involved working across the cooperative ecosystem in New England and New York to support a variety of campaigns leveraging community storytelling, advocacy efforts, and resource distribution to fight systemic injustice in the food system. Their food justice campaigns primarily focused on amplifying QTBIPOC coalitions, collaborative projects, and community organizers committed to advancing food sovereignty, land justice, and food system transformation. Jasmine’s work at Black Remote She continues to intersect with food justice movements through connecting community members with food access resources, career development opportunities, and networks sustaining equitable food systems across the country.
