The Rich Earth Summit, hosted by Rich Earth Institute, is a global event dedicated to advancing urine reclamation to create sustainable and just nutrient cycles. This gathering brings together over 250 researchers, practitioners, and advocates from 30 countries to share knowledge, showcase innovative projects, and foster new collaborations. The 2024 keynote will be presented by Sarah Nahar, M.Div: “To Have Excretory Justice, We Have to Deal With Our Crap.” Amongst its 11 sessions and 36 presentations, the Summit will feature two panels on using urine fertilizer in agriculture; an interactive session on design principles for equity & justice in urine reclamation; and three panels featuring implementation projects from around the world.
