Request for Workshop Proposals for CT NOFA’s 2025 Winter Conference

Our workshop roster for the 2025 Winter Conference is full. However, if you would like to submit a proposal to be added to our waiting list (in the event a currently slated presenter is unable to keep their commitment), you may do so here.
The CT NOFA Winter Conference educational slate of workshops is made possible thanks to the interest and enthusiasm of our knowledgeable community members. Are you an expert on a topic that would be of interest to conference attendees? We’d love to hear from you. Our workshop proposal window is open until January 10.
Workshop slots are available for our in-person conference on March 1, as well as the conference’s virtual workshop series from February 25-27. Presenters are provided with free admission to the conference, as well as a $150 honorarium.
We welcome all submissions for workshops that capture CT NOFA’s mission of fostering organic and regenerative agriculture. Particular topics of interest for our 2025 conference are:

- Farm Improvement and Innovation
- Black and Indigenous Farming Practices and Resources

- Beginning Farmer Funding and Resources
- Organic Certification Resources
- Organic Land Care
- Soil Health and Permaculture
- Policy and Advocacy Issues

Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP) Concludes
After more than three years of programming, the USDA-funded Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP) is concluding. This nationwide program worked to lower barriers to organic certification for farms and farmers, and CT NOFA – along with other NOFA chapters – was a lead partner in the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic region.
