2025 CT NOFA Winter Conference Workshop Proposal Submission Form

Our workshop roster for the 2025 Winter Conference is full. However, if you would like to submit a proposal to be added to our waiting list (in the event a currently slated presenter is unable to keep their commitment), please continue with this form.

Virtual Workshops will take place on February 25 - February 27 at 9am and 12pm. The in-person conference will take place on March 1st at Eastern Connecticut State University from 9am - 5:30pm.

All workshops are slotted for 75 minutes.

We welcome all submissions for workshops that capture CT NOFA's mission of fostering the organic movement in New England. This year, our conference priorities are:

-Transition to Organic Farming
-Beginner Farmer
-Organic Land Care
-Policy and Advocacy
-Homesteading/Home Gardeners
-Food Justice/Food Security

Submission of a proposal does not guarantee its acceptance. Topics and speakers are selected based on overall relevance to the CT NOFA audience.

TIPS:
1. Don’t submit pitches/PR sessions promoting your firm or product.
2. Please complete the proposal form as thoroughly as possible.
3. If you are suggesting a panel of participants but have not gotten full commitment from individuals, you may put job titles and organizations in the methodology section to indicate the types of panelists who will be invited to the discussion.

WHAT WILL CATCH OUR EYE?
1. A technically focused, detailed session abstract description.
2. Real-world use cases are highly encouraged and will receive preferential treatment in session selection.
3. “How-to” sessions
