37th Annual NOFA/Mass Winter Conference

Join organic enthusiasts from across Massachusetts and greater New England on January 13 at the 37th Annual NOFA/MASS Winter Conference!
This one-day event at Worcester State University provides a place to learn, gather, and kindle relationships in community with farmers, local food enthusiasts, land care professionals, advocates, elders, young leaders, and everyone in between!
The NOFA/Mass Winter Conference 2024 will be in-person only, with access to workshop recordings after the conference. This year brings a democratic focus on innovative workshops and organizing spaces. Opportunities await, with the chance to meet and reacquaint yourself with neighbors near and far.
In place of a keynote, there’s a whole lot in store: a wide variety of workshops and discussions for organic growers at any scale, including:

- Cornell Botanic Gardens’ Native Lawn with Todd Bitner
- Effects of Growing Vegetables in Perennial Clover Cover with Piyush

- Varieties for Organic Success with Paul Feenan of High Mowing Seeds
- The Children’s Conference returns, festive and bright!
- An exciting round of racial justice caucuses, Spanish language food systems sessions, native plant and pollinator presentations, and opportunities to hear about the newest programs in organic agriculture at the local, state and national level
- Soil Health Round Table: Join a panel of renowned soil specialists to take a deep dive into soil attributes and come away with knowledge that will increase soil health on your site
- Enjoy delicious snacks throughout, and local lunch with an organic focus
- Take home garden seeds, forgotten recipes, advice on tools and techniques, maybe even a new phone number or two: this year’s Winter Conference features a fair, with vendors and their specialists, and a region’s worth of engaged attendees joining together, poised for growth and change
