Providing new farm employees with comprehensive orientation to your farmā€™s systems, policies, and work culture is a crucial step to set yourself up for a successful season. Jen Salinetti (co-director) and Aviva Klein (farm manager) of Woven Roots Farm have learned through experience the importance of making time for this early-season step. In this workshop, Jen and Aviva will share the systems theyā€™ve developed for onboarding both new and returning employees at the start of each season, and they will support attendees in developing or refining their own orientation plans.
This in-person CISA workshop is free, but please register by Monday, January 26th so we can provide food for all. Snacks will be available throughout, and a late lunch will be provided by 1:30.
