Steadfast Farms Offers Poultry Processing Discounts to all NOFA Members

Steadfast Farms (Bethlehem, Connecticut), a member of CT NOFA’s 2025 TOPP cohort, is proud to offer discounted certified organic poultry processing services for active NOFA members of any chapter. Steadfast can process both birds raised in certified organic conditions and those raised conventionally. Additional fees for certified organic bird processing are waived for all active NOFA members.

Pricing

NOFA members receive bulk order processing rates – normally reserved for processing orders of 2,000 or more birds – regardless of the size of the order.

Additional Benefits for NOFA Members

In addition to providing bulk-processing rates for smaller producers, NOFA members will receive:

  • Priority scheduling equivalent to that provided for bulk processing orders
  • Prorated deposits (Seasonal Volume Program Deposit) based on individual farm volume

Organic Certification

Not certified organic but would like to be? The Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP) offers farmer-to-farmer mentorship and technical assistance specifically designed to support non-organic producers who are considering transitioning to organic production. To learn more about program participation either as a producer who would like to transition to organic or as a currently certified organic producer who would like to work in a mentorship or assistance role, please click here. About Steadfast Farms

Steadfast Farms, located in Bethlehem, CT, is a certified organic poultry processing facility – the only in Connecticut – owned by Marine Corp veteran Jared McCool and his brother Aaron McCool. They offer poultry processing services for farmers and raise a selection of game birds that are available for purchase. They are also certified by A Greener Word (AGW) for Animal Welfare Approved Humane Slaughter.
