Park City Harvest

April 26, 2024

Park City Harvest in Bridgeport is participating in CT NOFA’s Farm Share Program, which provides reduced cost Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares – also known as farm shares – to Connecticut residents in need of financial assistance.

Park City Harvest was established in 2017. Noticing that they were the only two black people in the program, Shawn Joseph and Richard Meyers have been dedicated to changing the image of farming within urban communities while feeding and educating the communities they serve. Their mission is to empower and inform urban youth about the impact that food has on our health, community, and the environment. Park City Harvest firmly believes that we can transform our communities one plant, one bite, and one voice at a time. While Farming for Financial Freedom.

Each full CSA share will receive 16-19 weekly pickups throughout the growing season (mid-June through early October), dependent on weather. The Full share is most suitable is for families of 4+ People.

If you are a Connecticut resident who is interested in a reduced cost CSA share from Park City Harvest, visit their website to apply for a share.
