CT Environmental Rights Amendment Lands on CT Senate Calendar

Advocacy Alert Banner

SJ 193, the resolution to put the CT Environmental Rights Amendment on the ballot to go into our state constitution, is now on the Senate calendar! That means that it could go on the Senate floor at any time during the remaining three weeks of this session.

So, take action today! Email your state legislators through this website, and tell them that we need environmental rights in our state constitution to empower all the people of the state to stand up for their rights to clean and healthy air, water, soil, ecosystems, and environment for a safe and stable climate.

Spread the word at Earth Day events! CT NOFA will have volunteers at Earth Day events on the campuses of the UConn Law School, Yale, and Wesleyan, and at town celebrations in West Hartford, Milford, Naugatuck, Cheshire, Hamden, and Norwalk. Want to spread the word in your town? Contact Kim Stoner, kim@ctnofa.org.
