 Join CT NOFA at The Hickories in Ridgefield on Wednesday, July 22 from 1:00pm-3:00pm for a Compost Tea Brewing workshop. Participants will learn how to make their own compost tea in a 5-gallon bucket and have an opportunity to borrow a compost tea brewing kit to use at home, including a bucket, aerator, mesh bag, and all needed amendments to brew your own batch of compost tea to add to your favorite plants. |

 Under the tutelage of CT NOFA Soil Health Program Manager, Monique Bosch, Soil Health 3-Ways participants will attend three virtual sessions (via Zoom) that cover the three main properties of soil – physical, chemical, and biological – in the lead-up to an in-person, practical application session. This 4-course series is intended for both commercial farmers and home gardeners to help them work with nature to produce healthy plants and nutrient-dense food. |
