Radical Roots Farm in Canterbury is participating in CT NOFA’s Farm Share Program, which provides reduced cost Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares – also known as farm shares – to Connecticut residents in need of financial assistance.

Radical Roots Farm is a small, veteran, and woman owned family farm located in eastern CT’s Quiet Corner. They raise heritage breeds of livestock in a biodynamic system for nutrient density and high quality proteins. In 2024 they plan to add more fruit and vegetables to round out their offerings.

Their full share consists of a total of 108 lbs. of the most delicious and healthy beef, pork, and chicken you will ever have. The quality of these proteins are sure to satisfy your craving for meat and will fill you up with well-raised and cared for goodness! A sample share might include 1 whole chicken, breakfast sausage, ground beef, beef short ribs, pork chops, bacon, stew beef, strip steak.

If you are a Connecticut resident who is interested in a reduced cost CSA share from Radical Roots Farm, visit their website to apply for a share.

Don’t need a discounted CSA but would like to support Radical Roots in providing discounted CSA shares to those in need? You can donate to their fund here.
