Growing Onions 101

April 16, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

onions+cold+frame

In this Thursday informal class, Julie Rubaud, Red Wagon Owner, will show you how to plant onions from seedlings (not dried ‘sets’) and will discuss all that goes into this crop in the home garden including how to store them all winter long. We will be in the garden, planting the onions together, so that you will learn hands on and feel empowered to do it yourself. Onions are a fantastic value and one of the vegetables that give the most satisfaction in the garden.

Due to current requirements regarding social distancing, we will be holding workshops seminars as video conferences. We will send an email with instructions ahead of time and will provide you with technical support to make your experience as smooth as possible. Our goal is to keep you safe and to support you with all of your gardening needs and knowledge.
