Join CT NOFA at The Hickories Farm in Ridgefield on Friday, May 29 from 1:00pm-3:00pm for microscope analysis of your soil!
Bring in your soil or compost sample and we’ll put it under the microscope to identify the microbial life within and explain what it all means. You’ll learn more about your sample’s:
- Soil structure
- Aggregate formation
- Bacterial/fungal ratio
- Predators
- And more!
You’ll leave knowing better what your soil is currently best suited for, as well as how you might amend it to better suit it for other growing applications. This event is intended for both commercial growers as well as home gardeners.
