Join NOC on Monday, October 23 in Providence, Rhode Island, for the Fall 2023 Pre-NOSB Meeting. This is an in-person event and is open to the organic community! This discussion-based meeting is focused on organic policy (including the 2023 Farm Bill), organic standards, and farmer issues. The Pre-NOSB meeting will take place in advance of the Fall National Organic Standards Board Meeting at the Marriott Downtown Providence(same location as NOSB meeting).
NOC will also convene a meeting for staff from organizations participating in USDA’s Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP). This meeting will provide the opportunity for local, regional, and national TOPP partners to share information and best practices. The TOPP meeting will take place on Monday, October 23 after the Pre-NOSB Meeting concludes and on Tuesday, October 24, before the NOSB meeting begins (breakfast will be provided).
